As president of the Council of United Professional Dance Teachers of the Philippines, Inc. (CUPDT Inc.), I welcome you to our official website.
We take pride in announcing that the CUPDTP is the only dance organization recognized and licensed by the Philippines' Games and Amusement Board (GAB) for the professional sport of ballroom dancing. The GAB is the Philippine government agency that regulates all professional sports matter. We will be providing updates on this as the CUPDTP and GAB iron out details regarding this recognition.
The CUPDTP is dedicated to the recognition of professional dance teachers through certification and examination. We value the promotion of dance through a systematic way of teaching by syllabus. We aim to put dance in the school curriculum by providing updated techniques and licensed dance teachers. Our dream is to establish the first dance academy in Asia.
We are opening CUPDTP to all professionals and individuals who are dedicated to promoting dance as an art and as a sport.
